Looking for recommendations for budget accommodation in Thamel. My requirements:
- Clean rooms with attached bathroom
- Hot water (essential!)
- Good WiFi for working remotely
- Budget: under $25/night
Anyone have recent experience with hostels or guesthouses in the area?

I stayed at Hotel Florid Nepal last month. $22/night, exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly helpful and the location is perfect - 5 minutes from the main shops but on a quiet street so you can actually sleep!

Try Z Street Hostel! Private rooms are around $20, super clean, great WiFi, and the rooftop has amazing views. The breakfast is decent too. It's a bit quieter than the main Thamel chaos which I appreciated.
