Everyone talks about Phewa Lake and Sarangkot, but what are some lesser-known spots in Pokhara that tourists usually miss? I'm staying for a week and want to explore beyond the typical tourist trail.
Particularly interested in local villages, authentic restaurants, and quiet spots for photography.

Check out the World Peace Pagoda early morning! Most tourists go during the day, but sunrise there is magical. Also, rent a bicycle and explore the Begnas Lake area - much quieter than Phewa and equally beautiful.

For authentic food, skip Lakeside restaurants and head to local eateries near Mahendrapul. There's a small place called 'Thakali Kitchen' - best dal bhat I've ever had! Ask any local, they all know it.
